Increase Efficiency Self Cleaning Kits Increase Your Separators Efficiency With Various Sweco Self Cleaning Kits Available through Sweco are several devices to help keep screens clean, increase capacity, and improve product yield through the screen. All of these devices are available to fit in all sizes of Sweco separators. Self Cleaning Devices include: • Sliders: Sliders rest on a stainless steel perforated plate mounted beneath the screen. As the separator vibrates, the sliders tap the underside of the screen, dislodging near-size particles or fibers that tend to blind the screen and reduce the screening area. • Power Wipers: Power Wipers provide a lightweight scrubbing action on the screen surface to keep material from sticking to the wires, improving product yield through the screen. Customers report increased capacity, ability to use finer screens without blinding and longer periods of production between screen cleanings. • Ball Trays: Ball Trays have a coarse screen mounted two inches below the sizing screen. Balls of engineered materials are placed on this coarse screen and the separator's vibrating action bounces the balls against the underside of the screen cloth, dislodging near size particles. • Self Cleaning Screens: Sweco Self Cleaning Screens combine the superior cleaning ability of Sweco's self cleaning kits with the convenience of a standard screen. This self contained anti-blinding device sandwiches sliders or vibratory balls in between a primary top mesh and a bottom support mesh. The constant slider or ball motion effectively removes particles which become lodged in the top screen. Reduce Maintenance Costs Sweco "No Tools" Accessories Reduce Your Maintenance Costs By Using Sweco's Patented "No Tools" Force Wheels and Center Tie Down. Sweco "No Tools" Force Wheels allow you to adjust the amplitude and screening pattern of your separator without the use of tools. The patented all metal weight adjustment mechanism can be used at up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Force Wheels are available for 24" - 72" separators. Sweco "No Tools" Center Tie Downs allows you to change a screen in a fraction of the time and gives you the ability to tension the screen from the top. They are suited to 220 degrees Fahrenheit and are constructed of Food Grade Nylon.
