It can also be used to segregate smaller particles from larger particles, and to remove foreign matter. It screens dry material only while being pneumatically conveyed. The PSI™ sifter includes an air by-pass system to provide equal pressure on both sides of the screening surface. Typical applications include: flour, starch, salt, sugar, and plastics.
